What it means
Double yellow lines mean no waiting at any time of day or night, on any day of the week, throughout the year. You may stop briefly to drop off or pick up a passenger. Blue Badge holders can park for up to 3 hours in most areas (no time limit in Scotland). Loading and unloading is usually allowed unless yellow kerb dashes are also present.
