Doctor Permit Holders Only
In plain English
This bay is reserved exclusively for vehicles displaying a valid doctor permit — no other vehicles may park here during controlled hours.
What it means
Doctor permit bays are reserved for registered medical practitioners who hold a permit issued by their local council or health authority. They are most common near GP surgeries, hospitals, and health centres where doctors need guaranteed nearby parking when visiting patients. The permit must be clearly displayed on the dashboard. If a time plate is shown on the same post, the restriction applies during those hours only; if no time plate is visible, the restriction may apply at all times. Other vehicles — including those of patients and visitors — must not use these bays during the controlled period.
