What it means
On red routes, taxi rank bays are marked with either a broad yellow line (being phased out) or a red line. Licensed taxis may pick up and set down passengers in these bays. Disabled badge holders may stop to set down a disabled passenger at a taxi rank on a red route, but only a licensed taxi may wait. Private hire vehicles may not use these bays.
